𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐨: What initially attracted you to Clean Medic Indus and made you decide to join the team? I’d love to know what aspects of our startup resonated with you and aligned with your career goals.

𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐤: I was attracted to Clean Medic Indus' mission to revolutionize medical waste management using innovative technology. The opportunity to work on a digital platform that could improve public health and the environment aligned perfectly with sustainable environment and my career goals. I was also impressed by the company's commitment to using cutting-edge technologies like machine learning and IoT to optimize waste collection and transportation processes. Additionally, the company culture and team dynamic at Clean Medic Indus were appealing to me. I was excited to join a team that was passionate about making a positive impact and working collaboratively to achieve common goals.

𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐨: Managing a team of 10 engineers can be a dynamic task. Could you share your approach to team leadership? How do you foster collaboration, innovation, and effective communication within your team to drive our digital platform’s development?

𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐤: As an experienced engineering manager with 18 years of experience in software development and startup, I believe in effective communication is key to driving our digital platform's development. I ensure everyone is aligned with our goals by holding daily team meetings and one-on-one. I also leverage various communication and project management tools, such as Slack and Notion, to keep everyone on the same page and track progress on ongoing projects not only in engineering department but also in entire department. Overall, my approach to team leadership is centered around creating a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages innovation, open communication, and continuous learning. With a tech-savvy team and a culture of continuous improvement, we're well-equipped to tackle challenges and drive our digital platform's development forward.

𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐤: My vision for Clean Medic's digital platform is to optimise waste collection and transportation processes using emerging technologies like blockchain and artificial intelligence. We will invest in research and development to identify new ways to enhance our platform's functionality. Our goal is to streamline the entire waste management process, from collection to disposal, to promote sustainability and improve public health in Indonesia and beyond. To achieve this vision, we will foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, working together with other organisations to share knowledge and expertise in waste management and emerging technologies. By leveraging the latest technologies and innovative approaches, we can revolutionise waste management practices and make a lasting impact on public health and the environment.
